Addition, at this level, conceptually is what happens when two or more items are put together to make one group. Addition can take place in so many ways, and the key to getting children to grasp it is to begin with simple activities of putting together identical items. In these free worksheets, children will work with adding identical items, then move on to identical items but in different colors.
